Surrounded by filmmakers for whom film was a means of (self-) expression, we supported intimate and above all innovative projects. Driven by this desire for new cinema, we want to produce films that invent and reinvent themselves for unique stories.
« Specimen » comes from the Latin specio, meaning « to watch, to observe ».
Our filmmakers are young observers of a world that surrounds them, from afar or up close, and they create their own unique productions. Our films are aimed at everyone, with the idea that a story in cinema resonates on behalf of all your stories.
About us
The company specialises in production and co-production, and also offers an executive production and consultancy service for the development and production of national and international films: artistic development, financing and production (coproduction and tax rebate).
We support new Belgian filmmakers as well as European and International talents.
